Getting started

by admin last modified 13-07-2008 17:01

Projects in the Sustainable Living Challenge are typically done on three different scales: individual, group or whole school.

Students, classes and whole schools are encouraged to take on the challenge of sustainable living by creating and working on a project that contributes in some small way towards creating a sustainable future.

Teachers are the contact point for the Sustainable Living Challenge - once the teacher registers with the program, they are linked to a national virtual community of participating teachers and become our contact point.

Projects for the Sustainable Living Challenge are typically on three different scales:

  • Individual projects - student rich task assignments conducted individually;
  • Group projects - teachers coordinating a large group of students working collectively on a single project;
  • Whole school projects - school wide effort across stages/years in an effort to become a 'sustainable school'.

The first step to get involved in the Sustainable Living Challenge is to register your interest with us today - either via the web, email or fax - and you will receive a return email outlining your login details to the website and program information.
