Expo and Awards Day 2006
Hundreds of students and their teachers descended upon the University of New South Wales on the 4th December for the annual Sustainable Living Challenge Expo and Awards Day. Over 800 students attended the action packed awards ceremony, hosted by Mike Kerry and Mel from Channel V . The trusty house band 'The Compostibles' debuted there latest release ‘Soul-ar Power’. Peter Garret also dropped in via a live video link just before awards were announced. Students were entertained and educated with workshops provided by Questacon, UNSW, and the Powerhouse Museum. They also browsed the impressive array of project profiles in the largest ever exhibition of Sustainable Living Challenge projects.
